I'm not receiving emails from CyberStart/CyberStart Canada

How to whitelist e-mails that CyberStart Canada will send you to make sure you/your students can register.
Updated on April 25, 2022

Many schools and organizations block emails from unknown senders or domains for student safety. This will prevent you from receiving registration emails, verification emails and program communications.

For this reason, it is recommended to register for the program using a personal email address rather than a school-issued email address if possible.

Throughout this program, participants will need to receive emails from:

  • *@cyberstartcanada.com
  • *@cyberstart.com

There are a number of sender addresses at these domains used for different functions, so domain level whitelisting is best to allow your students access. Your school's IT team should be able to enable this if you submit a request.

If you received your verification email and were able to sign up (ie your students have CyberStart access) then the emails are allowed to your system.

* Please note additionally for technical staff reading this article that the domains in question do have SPF and DKIM configured for trust purposes.
